Quarterback Shae Katou-Aki, making his long-awaited debut, passed for 290 yards, ran for 607 more yards and scored 12 offensive touchdowns Dan Harding's Leafa College Spirit lynched the Ohio State Buckeyes 154-45 at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, USA. Middle linebacker Roy Hanamura led the defense with 22 tackles, three tackles for loss, a sack, a forced fumble and an interception.

Halfback Jackson Tatara ran for 206 yards and three touchdowns, halfback Archer Hiiro ran for 295 yards and five more scores, wide receiver Xavier Kim caught five passes for 66 yards and a major, wideout Connor Yasaka led the blocked with 27 pancakes and Kim also had 24 pancakes.

Defensive tackle Oscar Inui had three sacks, defensive end Gary Acura and outside linebacker Nick Mikisugi each had two sacks, three different players on defense had 10 tackles including strong safety Lee Bongdal who had a pick, and outside linebacker David Hazuki returned a fumble 53 yards for a touchdown.

Leafa improve to 1-0 and return to action next week on the road against the Texas A&M Aggies. It is expected that Leafa will be the top-ranked team in college gridiron in the next Coaches' Poll.
